Designer & Product Leader

More

For over 15 years, I’ve helped businesses build brands, shape user experiences, define design strategy, and launch products from the ground up. For much of my career, I’ve served as the principal or sole designer, executing across the full spectrum of design. My experience spans startups, embedded consulting with Fortune 500 companies, and partnerships with small business owners.

Today, my focus is on product and design strategy, business growth, team leadership and mentorship, and scaling product and design functions. I draw on a diverse background—as a trained engineer, strategic designer, freelancer and consultant, and leader—which gives me the perspective to navigate growth and strategy from multiple angles. I believe design is essential to building impactful products, and that strategy requires both vision and discipline to execute successfully.

I’ve learned that doing mission-driven work will motivate me, but a good team will sustain me. Having worked remotely for much of my career (even before Covid), I value clear communication, effective collaboration and time for deep focus. I’m always open to connecting—reach out if you have an interesting idea to noodle on or want to talk design.
